Thank you for “taking your turn” at Thunderbird Dance Camp last summer.

We wanted to let you all know how the $1000 the students at camp donated to their  three charities has all been distributed.

Cancer Research -

     A check for $600 was given to the American Center for Cancer Research in memory of  Kayla, the young lady from Clackamas High School, who recently passed away from liver cancer. She was a Cavalette and  had  been involved not only in Dance Team but as a student at Thunderbird Camp. We felt it a good way to honor her memory.

SADD - Students Against Destructive Decisions -

     A check for $150 was sent to the National Headquarters  as there was not a local chapter  in the Northwest.

Homeless Teens -

     A check for  $300 was sent to the Evergreen School District Foundation for Homeless Teens to help supply necessary school supplies and books for needy and homeless students in that community .

    We have  received  letters of appreciation from all groups.  Please let your students  know that the difference they helped make is real.

The staff at Thunderbird is comprised of the most outstanding coaches and professional dancers in the Northwest.  A diverse background in dance allows our staff to provide expert training in jazz, ballet, modern, hip-hop and precision that will challenge your most skilled performers.  At the same time their expertise and experience will help your beginning and intermediate dancers improve and begin to realize their potential as dancers and team members.
